VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Our motto says it all - "Volunteers for Animal Welfare."
SPCA NOVA is a local, volunteer-based, nonprofit organization. We
rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, neglected and abandoned cats
and dogs. We also operate Spay, Inc. which provides residents with
referrals to local vets for low-cost spaying/neutering of their pets. In
2008, we rescued over 300 cats and dogs. We also provided over 7,000
referrals for low-cost spaying and neutering.
We raise funds to support our programs through adoption fees, donations, and fundraising activities. We receive no government assistance or support from any national organization. We accomplish our goals only through the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. And we have much more that needs to be done! If you have a passion for animals and are responsible and reliable - we need you!
