PET SUPPLY DONATIONS
If you are unable to donate money, we can always use donations of food and pet supplies, such as:
- Dog Food (Avo brand only - please donate other brands to the Humane Society of Fairfax County's Pet Food Pantry)
- Cat Food (any brand)
- Leashes & Dog Collars
- Towels and Blankets
- Carriers and Crates
- Traps
- Beds
- Toys
- Cat litter and litter boxes (especially covered litter boxes)
- Cat trees, scratching posts, and cardboard scratching boards
- "Quick release" collars for cats
- Metal or ceramic bowls for cats
If possible, please bring the items to one of our adoption fairs. Or call us (703-799-9390) or email us
(spcanova@aol.com) to make arrangements to get the items to one of our volunteers.
It's helpful if you are able to
bring the items to a volunteer's home who lives close to you. If you are donating large items or don't have a car,
we will try to find a volunteer who can pick up the items from you.
NOTE: Please make sure the donated items are in good condition, clean and ready to use.
Let us know if you would like us to provide you with a donation receipt for tax purposes
